The Moreton Bay College P&F Associaton is an important part of our College Community.

The MBC P&F Association is devoted to developing a community of parents, friends, staff and students. Their aim is to both ‘friend’ raise and fund-raise ultimately seeking ways to enhance our girls learning experience while strengthening our vibrant community.

MBC P&F High Tea 2019 Event Wrap up

The MBC P&F High Tea, proudly supported by Sold Property Group, was the largest High Tea event we have had, with 320 ladies (and a few gentlemen) in the large Marquee at Victoria Park Golf Complex.

The afternoon featured exquisite food, tea, coffee, plenty of Champagne, a wonderful fashion display by White Label Noba, the most incredible array of prizes donated for the raffles and silent auctions, and an inspiring talk by MBC Old Girl and Principal of Sold Property Group, Keryn Osbergy.

Alongside out Platinum Sponsor Sold Property Group, we were fortunate to have Snap Fitness Manly West and Motorline BMW as Silver Sponsors at this event. This event would not have been possible without their support.

In addition to our cash sponsors, we have received some incredible prizes, including one from Vuly Play who have generously donated an Ultra Medium Trampoline (valued at over $699) for our raffle! Vuly Play is Australia’s most trusted and industry leading manufacturer of outdoor play equipment and trampolines. The Ultra Medium Trampoline is fun for the whole family and includes a comprehensive range of built-in safety features to accommodate even the youngest members of our family. High Tea attendee Meabh O'Carroll was so grateful to win this incredible prize - Thank you Vuly Play!

This event raised approximately $34,000 for the MBC Parents and Friends Association which will assist in supporting new collaborative learning spaces for the Secondary Library and new Primary playground equipment. What an incredible effort!

Moreton Bay College alongside the P&F Association sincerely thank the following businesses for their support:

This year the P&F will be hosting a High Tea to raise funds to buy some new outdoor play equipment for the Primary School and buy some new flexible learning furniture for the Secondary Library.

On top of hosting their major fundraising event the P&F also run a number of services to the College Community throughout the year. These include but are not limited to:

  • Mother's Day Stall
  • Father's Day Stall
  • School Banking through Commonwealth Bank Dollarmites programme
  • Canteens at various College events

Parent Representatives

Parent Representatives

The Parent Representative Role is simply to help enrich families’ experiences at Moreton Bay College by providing a social link between the school and families.

While the role is mainly social, the parent representatives for each year level work together to:

  • Support the work of the MBC P&F Association and the support groups
  • Coordinate informal social events, providing parents and carers with opportunities to meet others with sons in the same year level
  • Welcome and help integrate new families our vibrant MBC Community

Following the Annual General Meeting in November 2018, a wonderfully dedicated team of parent volunteers were elected to lead the Committee in 2019. Where were lucky enough to have many exisiting members stay on board while also welcoming a few new faces to the team.
